A Brief History
Darrell Jordan began work at a local clock shop in the summer of 1975. His skills and knowledge improved dramatically, and soon he began repairing and restoring more challenging antique clocks. In 1983, Darrell Jordan became a certified craftmember of the British Horological Institue.
Jordan Clocks Incorporated was established in 1986 by Darrell and Jeanne Jordan who, in 2005, were joined by their son Graham. Immediately, Graham, who had worked in the shop for years, began a true apprenticeship in the repair and restoration of mechanical clocks. In 2008 Jeanne left Jordan Clocks to pursue a new career. At that time Graham became a co-owner with Darrell, and they have run the business together since.
In March of 2022, John Rathje, an accomplished business owner and cabinetmaker, was hired as an apprentice clockmaker.
In April of 2022, Tom Brooks began as office manager.
