An exceptionally rare and high quality musical clock made by George Prior for export to Turkey (Ottoman Empire) c. 1770
A phenomenal three train fusee movement which chimes one of four tunes on a nest of 10 bells at each hour. Silvered dial with scroll spandrels and a remarkable painted center with date aperture.
